Watch out for things to happen

You’re probably wondering why the heck did i changed my theme back to the default wordpress theme. Yeah make that 2 of us.

This is an updated mini howto from my previous post Mac OS X 10.4.x Tiger+HP Scanjet 3400c howto: GREATNESS! .

The process still the same but you need newer files for Leopard. You can check and download the leopard version of libusb, sane backend, and twain sane interface here or by following the procedure.

1. Download the following applications:

libusb
sane backend
twain sane interface

2. Extract and Install the applications downloaded:
Extract all 3 apps

And install the apps at this manner:
libusb

sane backend

TWAINE SAINE Interface

3. Restart your Mac(I don’t know why but that’s the way to make it work)
4. Now run image capture.app and scan whatever you want to scan

Update your Macs now!
